A while ago !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! about the F type not being as hot as it was hyped to be.

I just saw a hardtop for the first time. NOW I get what they were aiming at! Jeez, that's gorgeous. It's amazing what a difference a lid can make - turns it from unfortunately top-heavy to elegantly high-waisted.
It's back on my lottery list. With V8 (duh!) and 4WD (because I like living), and in that red.

My school's main color is red. I remember walking back from class one day and seeing one of these in that color parked with a custom school license plate and a Board of Regents parking pass. My reaction:

The coupification (that's a word now, deal with it) was the best thing to happen to the F-Type. I never saw what was so good about it when it was just a softtop and still don't. The coupe however is easily one of the best looking cars on the road, especially at the side.
